About the race
On 28 September 2019 we are organizing the Bereg Charity Half Marathon for the fifth time. Children and adults may choose from several distances at the biggest running event of the region. Participation does really matter at this race: we aim to draw the attention of the public to the situation of disadvantaged families of Transcarpathia and to the importance of providing assistance by involving as many people as possible into the charity run. Entry is FREE. If you can afford, please support the activities of Hungarian Interchurch Aid’s Beregszász/Beregovo center with your donation in order we can help more families through providing them foodstuffs, firewood and child development programs.
Race information
Registration, donation: Entry is FREE, there is no entry fee. Due to historical reasons, majority of locals in Transcarpathia use Central European Time (CET) in everyday communication with each other, while they use Eastern European Time (EET) when arranging official affairs. (That is why we can see boards/signs in Transcarpathia similar to the one in the picture.)
Based on the above, times related to the contest are shown according to time zone of Kiev, ie. in Eastern European Time on the English and Ukrainian websites, while the Hungarian sub-page indicates these in Central European Time.

| Accommodation: Runners coming from abroad are recommended to arrive on Friday due to the early start of the race. Please click HERE for accommodations in the area. |
Access: Travel to Ukraine is visa-free but passport is required. There might be congestion at the border, it is better to take waiting time into account. Click HERE to plan the route.
Means of payment: Hryvnia, may be exchanged in banks and official exchange points till noon on Saturday.
